TRUETAPE: how to tape your hip flexor

What you need

2 TRUETAPE strips

Wearing time

4-5 days

Taping tips

Apply tape 1 hour before starting an activity

Thoroughly remove dirt, moisture, oils and lotions from the skin before taping

Do not wear the tape for longer than 7 days

To activate the adhesive, carefully rub the tape several times after applying

In areas that are particularly hairy, trim the hair to ensure the tape sticks better

Remove paper backing before application and always make sure the ends of the tape are applied WITHOUT stretch

Application hip flexor - Starting position
STARTING POSITION

Pull your leg backwards or let it hang loose to stretch your hip flexors. (NOTE: Please apply tape directly onto your skin, not as shown!)

1. STRIP

Application hip flexor - Step 1
0% STRETCH

Apply the anchor without stretch above your hip to the frontside of your thigh.

Application hip flexor - Step 2
25% STRETCH

Apply the tape with 25% stretch slightly diagonal across your hip and point of pain towards your stomach.

Application hip flexor - Step 3
0% STRETCH

Apply the end of the tape without stretch to your abs.

2. STRIP

Application hip flexor - Step 4
0% STRETCH

Apply the anchor without stretch centrally next to the first one.

Application hip flexor - Step 5
25% STRETCH

Apply the tape with 25% stretch upwards in parallel to the first one over your point of pain.

Application hip flexor - Step 6
0% STRETCH

Finish the end without stretch again.

Application hip flexor - Step 7
DONE!

Make sure to give the whole application another good rub to activate the adhesive. Congrats, that's it.
