TRUETAPE: how to tape your shoulder

What you need

2 TRUETAPE strips

Wearing time

4-5 days

Taping tips

Apply tape 1 hour before starting an activity

Thoroughly remove dirt, moisture, oils and lotions from the skin before taping

Do not wear the tape for longer than 7 days

To activate the adhesive, carefully rub the tape several times after applying

In areas that are particularly hairy, trim the hair to ensure the tape sticks better

Remove paper backing before application and always make sure the ends of the tape are applied WITHOUT stretch

Shoulder instruction - Starting position
STARTING POSITION

Stretch your skin by placing your hand on your opposite front pocket.

1. STRIP

Shoulder instruction - Step 1
0% STRETCH

Apply the anchor without stretch below the shoulder muscles on the outside of your upper arm.

Shoulder instruction - Step 2
25% STRETCH

Apply with 25% stretch curving around the back of your shoulder towards the top of it

Shoulder instruction - Step 3
0% STRETCH

Finish the tape at the top of your shoulder without stretch.

Shoulder instruction - Step 4
0% STRETCH

Move your hand towards your tailbone.

2. STRIP

Shoulder instruction - Step 5
0% STRETCH

Apply the anchor without stretch slightly ahead of the first strip.

Shoulder instruction - Step 6
25% STRETCH

Apply the tape with 25% stretch and curve around the frontside of your shoulder.

Shoulder instruction - Step 7
0% STRETCH

Finish the tape without stretch just ahead of the first strip.

Shoulder instruction - Step 8
DONE!

Make sure to give the whole application another good rub to activate the adhesive. Congrats, that's it.
